I recently graduated with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Princeton University, advised by (Professor David I. August). Now I work as an applied scientist at AWS AI, focusing on machine learning systems. My current work is around NKI (Neuron Kernel Interface) and other compiler optimizations for Trainium chips. During my Ph.D., my research focused on automatic parallelizing compiler that transforms sequential programs into parallel programs. My thesis work focused on a tiny aspect of the problem: how to build a fast and extensible memory profiling framework to unblock the development of parallelizing compilers. In my own time, I play a LOT of volleyball. I had the honor to be the captain of the Men's Volleyball Team of Peking University and a member of Princeton Men's Club Volleyball team. Now, I play in multiple leagues and open gyms in the Bay Area.
