My CV
Co-Advisors: Prof. Jennifer Rexford and Prof. Maria Apostolaki
Hi, I'm Sophia! I'm a fifth year PhD candidate working with Professor Jennifer Rexford and Professor Maria Apostolaki at Princeton University. My research primarily lies in the intersection of software-defined networking, programmable data planes, and network security. Currently, I'm investigating how to use programmable data planes to more effectively defend against various network attacks directly at the packet-level.
On the Criticality of Integrity Protection in 5G Fronthaul Networks
TANGO: Secure Collaborative Route Control across the Public Internet
SmartCookie: Blocking Large-Scale SYN Floods with a Split-Proxy Defense on Programmable Data Planes
Sieve: Layered Network Defenses against Large-Scale Attacks
Distributed In-Network SYN Flooding Mitigation
Secure Keyed Hashing on Programmable Switches
I like to play music for fun. Check out my personal YouTube channel to find possibly embarrassing videos of me singing while playing guitar and harp. I also play music professionally, check out my group's website Joyful Sound of Music and our Youtube channel to see me playing violin, piano, and harp. In my free time, I also give music lessons for Joy Music Studio, where I love to work with young kids and help them grow as little musicians.
