Drop that hood down,
pull out the upper cabinet,
and pull out the range
Note: pulling out the range required
ungluing the caramel-like substance that
had run down between the oven and cabinets,
baked, dried, and fused the oven in there.
And Woah! Look at all that crap under
the old range!
The strange brackets between the upper
cabinets were to spread and unwarp them back
out to 30" spacing (steam and heat had let them
bow inward, making the opening 1/4" too small).
They delivered the Range and Hood at 4:PM
and by 10PM that same
evening, the hood and
range were in place,
and the first pot of
yummy chili was done
0 alarm chili with
fixins and scortched
corn tortillas
The backplate arrived
two days later,
and here's the
completed ensemble
And Yep, the
oven works too!
