Larry Peterson Made IEEE Fellow

Professor Larry Peterson has been made an IEEE Fellow for contributions to the design, implementation, and deployment of networked software systems, effective January 1, 2010. Recognizing the achievements of its members is an important part of the mission of the IEEE. Each year, following a rigorous evaluation procedure, the IEEE Fellow Committee recommends a select group of recipients for one of the Institute's most prestigious honors, elevation to IEEE Fellow.
The decision was made by IEEE Board of Directors, at its November 2009 meeting.
