Crop and shrink using imgworks

Run imgworks capture.rgb, and click on Transform, then on Crop/Add Margin.... Move the yellow boxes to select a square part of your image with your face nicely centered and a part of your shoulders still visible, then click on Apply.

Next, click on Transform, then Scale... and input an appropriate percentage value for the Scale Factor so the image is resized to 200 by 200 pixels.

Click on File, then Set GIF Options..., and set the number of colors to save to 256, and clear the Use Dithering checkbox. Then choose File, Save As... to save your image as a GIF image.
