COS 597E: Civic Technologies

Project Proposal

Due Monday, Oct. 5, in class

The project proposal is a one-page description of the course project you want to do. Each group should submit one proposal, written jointly by the group's members.

Your proposal should list the members of your group, describe the project in general terms, and explain the civic value of the project. The main goal of the proposal is to communicate clearly the direction and scope of the project, to make sure everyone is on the same page, and to enable you to start planning out the details of your project.

Prof. Felten will review your proposal to make sure it seems reasonable, given the time and resources available. He will respond to each group by class on Wednesday, Oct. 7, either approving the project or detailing a list of issues to be addressed before the project can be approved. Every project must be approved by Prof. Felten.
