Final Project
One-paragraph proposal due Friday, Dec 17
Final writeup due Tue, Jan 11
The final assignment for the class is to work on a project of your choice
involving the application of computational techniques to any problem in the
physical sciences, engineering, social science, economics, etc. The ideal
project would combine more than one of the computational algorithms we've
talked about with appropriate domain-specific models, careful analysis, and
an effective presentation of the results.
- The project should be done in groups of 2-4.
- The scope of the project need not be enormous: it will receive weight
equal to 1.5 regular assignments in the course. The amount of work should
be roughly proportional to the number of members in the group.
- Please submit, at
this link,
a one-paragraph description of your project. This is due Friday, December 17.
- The final projects will be due on Dean's date: Tuesday, January 11.
Please submit a description of your approach, your code, and analysis.
- Please submit your final writeup
here.
